Britain's crack contemporary music ensemble are committed to pushing boundaries and placing new music at the heart of contemporary culture. Brass players from the London Sinfonietta explore the farthest horizons of solo and ensemble music for brass. Brass quintets of James MacMillan, Witold Lutosławski and Timothy Jackson are featured alongside theatrical renditions of Sir Harrison Birtwistle's The Silk House Tattoo for two trumpets and percussion and Luciano Berio’s theatrical Sequenza V by Byron Fulcher, Principal Trombone of the Philharmonia Orchestra.
